Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will head a Committee which will dialogue with the youths on national security, employment and social welfare.
The committee was inaugurated after an emergency virtual meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) on Monday.
According to the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Lolu Akande, the Committeewould have a Governor from each of the six geopolitical regions of the country. Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, will represent Governors from the North West just as Babagana Zulum of Borno State will represent Governors from the North East.
While Niger State Governor, Sani Bello will represent North Central, Governor RotimiAkeredolu of Ondo State will stand in for South West governors with Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State and Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State representing South East and South South governors respectively.
