The boy, a 23 years old undergraduate of Kwara State Polytechnic, Abdul-Basit Damilola was kidnapped last weekend in Ilorin, during an armed robbery attack by some Fulani men.
Damilola’s younger brother’s wife was killed, a pregnant woman carrying a twin.
During the attack, his son, Abdul-Basit was abducted and a ransom of 30 million Naira was placed on his head.
The boy has been released last night and Damilola gave thanks to those that supported him in cash and kind. He said a huge sum of money was collected, meanwhile the pregnant woman that was killed has been buried.
