The fear of young and cyber money ritualists, popularly known as Yahoo plus boys, has become the beginning of wisdom among the young ladies operating as commercial sex workers, otherwise known as prostitutes, as the modus operandi reportedly adopted by the wicked money ritualists months back which involves hypnotizing women and take possession of their underwears after having sex with them is yet to be a thing of the past.
In respect of the above, Opera News went to certain parts of Lagos state and spoke to a couple of prostitutes who shockingly confessed not wearing pants and braziers any more any time they're on the field because of the fear of the desperate Yahoo guys parading themselves as customers.
According to Jennifer who operates as a commercial sex worker on Allen Avenue area of Ikeja, Lagos, "We're no longer enjoying the 'business' because of those wicked Yahoo boys as they're still picking pants of those that fall into their hands. Left to me, I don't wear pants any more. And everybody among my colleagues is being very careful now. Those guys are ready to entice you with juicy pay package, especially if you agree to pass the night with them. But what of the essence of the juicy package you collect that later costs you your life? Left to me, I believe in the little money I can make from my regular customers rather than follow those boys and get used up for money ritual. Although, it's very difficult to differentiate between genuine guys and those desperate Yahoo boys, one can still be safe by being careful and not too greedy."
Another prostitute, Angela, operating from Abule Egba area of Lagos state also corroborated the earlier speaker, she said, " Yes, those guys are still in operation. They are still using ladies underwears for money ritual. That's why most of us no longer wear pants and bras. If you're not very careful, you can't Know those guys. One needs to be extra smart and prayerful in this 'business' and we also need to survive. That's why we engage in prostitution since we can't get any meaningful employment. But now, we're not feeling safe because no one is ready to die young no matter how bad the situation of the country is at the moment."
Also, Debbie, a k a @oshonotforfree, confessed, "I don't put on pant and bra any more because of those wicked boys. Just of recent one of us lamented her pant disappeared shortly after sleeping off in the hotel room where she passed the night with a guy who came to pick her here. She doesn't know the whereabouts of the guy till now. She has to travel down to her village to seek spiritual solution because her mind has not been at rest since the incident. And not only the Yahoo guys that are involved in that wicked act, all these big men that also patronize us, at times, come with ulterior motives. It's only God that's saving us
