New
Executive governor of Lagos state, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu and
his deputy, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamsat have actually taken the bull of
affairs of the state by the horn by not wasting any iota of time to
prove their readiness to raise the bar of governance of the state
designated as Centre of Excellence. And this was evident in their
actions soon after the swearing-in on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
The
new Lagos helmsman, Mr Sanwo-olu has visited different places,
including Apapa- Oshodi, Babagry roads, which have been begging for
government attention since the administration of his predicessor, former
governor Akinwunmi Ambode and directed immediate commencement of work
in the areas.
The
new governor who has been receiving commendations from Lagosians since
inception of his administration has promised not to fail as he can't
afford to. And has consistently pledged to live by his promises in
governing the state.
However,
Sanwo-olu has signed three bills into law and pledged to work according
to 2019 budget which was equally signed on Monday, June 2, 2019.
