In the spirit of Valentine's Day, Tunde Olaogun, a renowned philanthropist, has donated JAMB forms to scores of students in secondary schools in Lokoja. This selfless act is a testament to his commitment to showing love and care to those who need it most.
According to Tunde Olaogun, "Valentine's Day is not just about showing love to our romantic partners, but also about extending kindness and compassion to the less privileged. Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our young people, and I am honoured to be able to play a small part in making that happen."
The donation was presented to the students at GYB Model Science Secondary School, Lokoja, where the School Principal, Ajofe (Chief) Yakub and the Director of Guidance & Counseling, Mrs Omotosho, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Tunde Olaogun.
"This gesture is a huge blessing to our students whose parents cannot afford to pay for the JAMB forms," said the Principal. "We are deeply grateful to Mr. Tunde Olaogun for his kindness and generosity."
Mrs Omotosho added, "As a mother, I understand the importance of education, and I am thankful to Mr. Tunde Olaogun for his initiative. This donation will go a long way in supporting the educational pursuits of our students."
This is not the first time Tunde Olaogun has demonstrated his commitment to giving back to the community.
Recently, he was bestowed with the traditional title of Tayese of Oluwo, Iju-Ogundimu in Lagos State, in recognition of his humane personality and his tireless efforts to support those in need.
