Mammoth crowd of Muslim sympathizers on Friday, January 24, stormed the Campus Mini Stadium, Lagos Island, for the Janazah (funeral prayer) of renowned Islamic scholar and preacher, Amir Qamardeen Ajala.
Amir Ajala returned to his Creator, Allah, on the evening of Thursday, January 23.
The Janazah was led by the Chief Imam of Lagos, Sheikh Sulaimon Oluwatoyin Abou-Nolla before his remains were moved to the Mainland Central Muslim Community Burial Ground, Mowe/Ofada in Ogun State.
Muslim News gathered the deceased had written a will as far back as 2012 where he stated that the Conference of Islamic Organizations under the leadership of Sheikh Abdur-Rahman Ahmad of Ansar-Ud-Deen and Sheikh Dhikrullah Shafi’i of The Muslim Congress (TMC) should supervise his burial.
