QUEEN AYO BALOGUN'S MOTHER PASSES ON AT 91, TO BE BURIED APRIL 23

 Madam Victoria Ebunoluwa  Ogunlade, mother of famous Juju musician and president of the Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), Queen Ayotunde Kofoworola Balogun, has bid farewell to this sinful world at the ripe age of 91.

The hugely talented musician announced the demise of her beloved mother to The Message International magazine a couple of days ago. She described the deceased as a very loving and caring mother who will be missed by all her children and those around her, including  her church members where she served God till she breathed her last.

"My mother has gone! She died on March 2, 2021 at 91. She died in my house. We give glory to God for her life well spent. She was such a caring, loving and courageous mother. She was my role model, a complete mother that will surely be missed by myself,  my siblings and everybody around her. She died a devout Christian. And her impact in the church will forever remain faultless because she spent all her life in the service of God and humanity. She will be buried on April 23, 2021 by God's grace. May her soul rest in peace!"

Meanwhile, the entire family has made public the burial arrangements which kick off on Wednesday, April 21 and end on Friday, April 23, 2021.

The statement for the burial plan reads, "The burial arrangements of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mama Victoria  Ebun Ogunlade will be as follows:

"Wednesday April 21's event: Service of songs at her residence at 1b, Ahanor Drive, Ajao Estate, via International Airport Road, time is 5pm.

"Thursday, 22nd of April: Church Wake Keep which will take place at Methodist Church, Palm Avenue, Mushin at 4.30pm. Dress code: Purple on white.

"Friday 23rd of April: Lying in state at Methodist Church's entrance , Palm Avenue, Mushin, 8.30am.

"Burial Service: Methodist Church, Palm Avenue, Mushin. Time: 9.30 prompt.

"Interment: Ikoyi Cemetery after church service. Dress code for church service: Aso ebi: Female- Ankara and gele(head gear), N6000. Male- Ankara and fill(cap), N4500.

"And for the Aso ebi, pay into First Bank, 2012508714, Ayotunde K Balogun.
