Argentina soccer legend Diego Maradona has died at the age of 60, a source close to his family confirmed to CNN.
The Gimnasia coach has been hospitalized at the start of November, 2020, days after complaining of low spirit and fatigue.
However, tests at the La Plata clinic revealed a blood clot on his brain which doctors later operated in successfully.
The story, however, changed on Wednesday morning as the former world cup hero suffered Cardiac arrest, and all the paramedics at the scene couldn't help the situation; hence his eventual death.
Regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the game, Maradona became a household name after inspiring his country to World Cup glory in 1986.
He also played for clubs such as Barcelona and Napoli in a glittering career.
