BREAKING: FIRST NIGERIAN-AMERICAN TO WIN US CONGRESS ELECTION: BRIEF PROFILE OF DR OYE OWOLEWA FROM KWARA STATE

 

Nigerian-American, Oye Owolewa, has become the first Nigerian to be elected into the United States Congress.

Oye, whose parents are from Omu-Aran inIrepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, is a member of the Democratic Party.

The 30 year-old, will represent the Washington DC Metropolis.

Owolewa, a Ph.D holder in Pharmacygraduated from the Northeastern University, Boston.
