COVID-19 KEEPS RAVAGING AS NIGERIA RECORDS 603 NEW CASES

The hope of many Nigerians to see the end of the novel Coronavirus soon may have been dashed as the notorious disease keeps ravaging the country, hitting different states with some government houses not being spared.

The reports in the past few days have been so alarming, and yet most Nigerians are still being defiant to the guidelines issued by  the government and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) with a view to avoiding the spread of the virus. 

The records as at Sunday, July 5 show that 603 fresh cases of the dresses COVID-19 have been discovered across the country with Lagos state still maintaining the lead having 135 followed by Edo with 87 infected persons. The disease which spread across 18 states going by the records of Sunday July 5 has killed about 634 people since February till date and with a total of 28, 167 confirmed cases so far.

However, 11, 462 COVID-19 Patients have been healed and discharged after  their post treatment test results showed that they know have clean bills of heath.Bellow are how the figures stand:
