Finally, former governor of Oyo State and immediate past Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Abiola Ajomobi has been confirmed dead.

Meanwhile, the Ibadan, Oyo born politician's death has been all over the place after slipping into coma for days which was debunked by his daughter-in-law until he finally succumbed into the cold hands of death after losing battle to COVID-19.
Ajimobi was the only Oyo governor to have government the state for two terms of eight years consecutively. It was also revealed by the late politician himself during his 70th birthday last year that he was the only person in his parental lineage to have clocked 70. May his soul rest in peace!
