Embattled Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The governor announced this on Tuesday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Villa.
He reportedly said he will,  in a matter of matter of days,  announce the new political platform with which he plans to recontest the fortcoming governorship election in the state.
However, speculations are rife that Obaseki and his loyalists may likely settle for African Democratic Congress(ADC) as the bid to defeat to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) had reportedly met stiff conditions.
