NOLLYWOOD MOURNS AGAIN AS VETERAN ACTOR, FEMI OYEWUMI, OLADITI DIES
It is another sad moment for the Yoruba movie industry as one of their veteran actors, Femi Oyewumi, a.k.a, Laditi died Friday, May 22, 2020. The news of his death was shared on a Facebook page by his younger brother with the name, Prince Kehinde Adegoke Oyewunmi. The post reads: “Eni ba m’agbe ko ba mi daro aro, eni ba maluko ko ba mi daro osun,......... " Eni ba mo booda mi, Omo'ba Femi Oyewumi ( Laditi ) ko wa ba mi sedaro eni mi. Sunre o, omo Ajagungbade onidugbe. Good Knight. “ In our chat with him, he has confirmed his brother’s demise. He said the Late Prince was an actor of repute from Ajagungbade ruling house in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.; Laditi, as he was fondly called died at the age of 58 around 3am today, Friday. According to his brother, he said, “He's been battling with chronic backache for some months now before he was rushed to the hospital the day before yesterday and was dead before daybreak today.” Laditi was survived by wife, children and siblings. He will be buried on Tuesday in Ogbomoso. The brother said.
