FIVE YEARS IN OFFICE: NIGERIANS SCORE BUHARI LOW, CHALLENGE HIM TO STEP UP ON SECURITY AND ECONOMY

As today, May 29, 2020 marks the fifth year of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration, a lot of Nigerians home and abroad are yet to be satisfied with the performance of the administration so far.
They believed that the change mantra Buhari and all his All Progressives congress (APC) bigwigs bench-marked their campaign is more or less a tale by moonlight as nothing has really changed as expected of the administration since inception till date. They therefore charged President Buhari to use the remaining three years to complete his second tenure to wright all the wrongs perpetrated by his administration, especially in the aspects of security, economy, health and education.
Some Nigerians The message international.blogspot.com sought their views on the assessment of Buhari's five-year rule so far spoke with dissatisfaction as they insisted they're yet to feel the desired dividends of democracy expected of his governance. They, however, urged the administration to raise the bar in certain aspectsaspects, especially security and dwindling economy that have been confronting the country for years which incidentally became worsened during the present administration.
According to Azeez Oladipupo, "We're not enjoying anything tangible from the present administration. All we hear daily is fight against corruption. And since, we're yet to feel the impact of all the money recovered by the administration. It's all a newspaper achievement. We need to feel the impact on the economy. The only language the poor masses understand is when little money can purchase much goods and poverty is reduced to the barest minimum. Also, security situation has become so worrisome that traveling from one place to the other has become extremely difficult because of the fear of being kidnapped by unknown gunmen. So, Bihari needs to step up his game on these two areas while other areas, including education, infrastructure, health should also not be outrightly neglected."
Also, Chibuzor Emmanuel, a spare part dealer corroborated the earlier speaker, adding that the administration can still use the rest three months to correct all the abnormalities recorded so far as Nigeria's case is still redeemable.
"Bihari needs to rise up to the challenges facing the country at the moment. Poverty us all over the place. Even, before COVID-19 creptt in, Nigeria's economy was nothing to write home about.Security situation has become even worse than we experienced during former president Goodluck Jonathan's administration. Bihari and his APC government should fulfill their promise to Nigerians, especially the poor masses who ate in the majority."
