It was truly a 'Night of Majesty' at Oluwole, Ogba central mosque, Lagos on Monday, June 11, 2018 as hundreds of Muslim faithful converged to seek Allah's favour and blessings accorded the night which comes only once within the last 10 days of Ramadan.
There was out pouring of favour from above as it's boldly written in the Holy Qur'an that angels will descend from high heaven by Allah's permission and bless the congregation observing the night.
According to Qur'an, 97 vs 3-5, "The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down the angels and the spirits by Allah's permission, on every errand. Peace!....This until the rise of morning."
The chief host, Chief Imam, Sheikh Sa'dallah Bello Olohunlalaro, in his life touching sermon, enjoined muslims across the country to put the fear of Allah before every other thing as it was demonstrated during the holy month so that their rewards will limitless here on earth and on the day of accountability.
Also, corroborating the imam, the special guest of honour, the highly revered Sheikh Dauda Alfa NLA warned the congregation against back sliding. "
You all need to continue striving in the cause of Allah(SWA) and His prophet, Muhammed(SAW) so as to earn more of Allah's favour not only today, the Night of Power, but through out your existence on earth. Also, you should be warned against any act capable of invalidating your fasting as that's where the devil is waiting. He is looking for who to mislead after Ramadan so that the acts if Ibadah demonstrated during the fasting period will just end in futility."
